Renewable and Nonrenewable Resources |
renewable and nonrenewable resources list contain a lot of energy forms which have reported in a few lines below:-
The first form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the solar energy, Where it is the origin of all energies on the earth and the oldest ever. it is one of Renewable Resources.
The second form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the wind energy, This energy exists because of the pressure difference from place to place, which in turn leads to air flow from a high pressure area to the low pressure area. it is one of Renewable Resources also.
The third form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Chemical energy, this is the energy stored in the
bonds of atoms and molecules and released as heat in a chemical reaction. This
is specific to each reaction and is usually given as energy unit mass or number of molecules.
Biomass, petroleum, natural gas, propane and coal are examples of
stored chemical energy.
The third form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Nuclear energy, this is the energy stored in the
nucleus of an atom - the energy that holds the nucleus together. The nucleus of
a Uranium atom is an example of nuclear energy.
The fourth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Gravitational energy, this is the energy of place or
position. Water in a reservoir behind a hydro power dam is an example of
gravitational energy. When the water is released to spin the turbines, it
becomes motion energy.
The fifth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Radiant energy, this is electromagnetic energy that
travels in transverse waves. Radiant energy includes visible light, x-rays,
gamma rays and radio waves. Solar energy is an example of radiant energy.
The sixth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Geothermal energy, this energy is thermal energy stored in the underground. and this energy derived from high temperature of the lower layers of the earth and this form of energy is a renewable resource also.
The seventh form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the thermal energy, it is the energy generated from the combustion of burning materials such as coal or wood, natural gas or methane gas or diesel or any flammable substance and it can also be obtained collects rays from the sun using solar collectors.
The eighth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Hydro power energy, this form of energy derived from the energy of falling water from high altitude places to low altitude places such as waterfalls and river dams. it is one of Renewable Resources also.
The ninth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the Fossil Fuel energy, this form of energy derived from burning fuel which accumulates in the ground over thousands of years. and this form of energy is a nonrenewable resource.
The tenth form in the Renewable and nonrenewable Resources List is the coal energy, this form of energy derived from burning coal which derived from some kinds of wood trees. and this form of energy is a nonrenewable resource.
